This 28-1/2-quart stainless-steel rondeau has a height of 6-5/8-inch and a diameter of 17-3/4. It is wide and low, allowing for the quick dispersion of steam for searing and poaching. The pan has two welded stainless steel handles. The Grand Gourmet series boasts an outer and inner satin polish and a mirror-finish along the edges. Its stainless steel handles are hollow and tubular for an ergonomic shape that also allows for a stay-cool feature. The line has a sandwich, thermo-radiant bottom (stainless steel/aluminum/stainless steel) that is concave when cold and flat when hot, making it perfect for use on any type of stove, whether gas, electric, glass ceramic or induction.
